Divorce Care: Benefits of Mediation – Every six months at Parkade Baptist Church
DivorceCare is a Christian based program that consists of thirteen week sessions designed to deal with the challenges of divorce. The DivorceCare Program is offered through several churches in the Mid-Missouri area. In Columbia this program is offered through Woodcrest, The Crossing and Parkade Baptist. Each week of DivorceCare is a different topic. Our firm presents as part of this thirteen week program on the topic of mediation at Parkade Baptist Church.
We believe mediation offers the following benefits over traditional court litigation:
- It can often be cheaper;
- The process is designed to preserve a positive relationship between the parties;
- It can be faster; and
- Tends to result in better outcomes for the parties.
